Hartpury College

Megan Goddard - Worcester Ladies & England EPS

The former Level 3 Extended Diploma Sport (Performance and Excellence in Rugby) student, who was also a part of the AASE rugby programme during her time at Hartpury made her debut for the England U20s side in 2011 whilst completing her studies at Hartpury.

She went on to sign for Worcester Ladies in the RFU Women's Premiership a year later in 2012 after graduating from Hartpury. 2013 proved a fruitful year for Megan as she captained the U20s before being selected for the nations cup squad. She impressed in games against South Africa, America and Canada and was rewarded with a call up to the full Elite Player Squad - the third Hartpury graduate to achieve this honour.

“With the support of coaching staff and all the amazing facilities I was able to develop myself as a player and ultimately reach my goal of becoming a part of the England women's squad. The AASE programme enabled me to study for qualifications necessary for me to go onto further education at university."

"I particularly enjoyed all the training sessions and having the opportunity to represent Hartpury playing high level rugby, which has been extremely beneficial in getting me to where I am now,” the fly half added.
