Getting you back to your best

Our team use the latest techniques to help return your function and movement for a safe return back from injury. Plus you’ll benefit from Hartpury’s outstanding facilities for your rehabilitation.

Your session starts with a detailed initial assessment, where we’ll get to know all the details of the problem. We carry out a formal assessment with a range of specific tests, which will enable us to make an informed diagnosis. Your bespoke plan will then be discussed with you, which could include manual therapy, massage, electrotherapy and rehabilitation, including exercises you can do at home and in the gym.

Success stories

“I had a lifting and twisting accident, and suffered with extreme back and leg pain for around a month. It was affecting my job and personal lifestyle, I wasn’t able to take my children to the cinema or sit down long enough to complete my work.

My manager recommended Adam and the Hartpury Sports Injury Clinic to me. I met with Adam for an initial, detailed assessment, where I was diagnosed with a sciatic injury.

I have had four therapy sessions where I received treatment and a structured ‘Home Exercise Plan’ to strengthen my muscles and improve my mobility. We set goals each session to keep me motivated and have things to aim for.

I am now able to resume my busy life at work and home and with the knowledge I have gained, I can make sure things don’t come back!”

“I attended the Sports Injury Clinic with pain in my neck and left shoulder. After a detailed assessment, Adam discovered that I couldn't even lift my own arms over my head due to an old neck injury. The first session made a complete difference as he explained everything in detail to me in a way that I could understand and he also did some treatment too!

I followed his advice and exercise plan and I was able to get strong enough to ride and trial for the Hartpury Equine Academy. By the end of term, I could easily do a full push up and was selected for the Equine Development team. I couldn't be happier!”
