Offering postgraduate qualifications in Equine, Sport, Animal and Veterinary Physiotherapy, Hartpury provides a unique postgraduate experience on a stunning 360-hectare rural campus, but with the thriving urban centres of Gloucester and Cheltenham nearby.

Your Programme Manager will support you in making the most of the opportunities available at Hartpury, including access to excellent facilities and commercial businesses on site, making the most of industry contacts and links and help with potential work placements and research collaborations.
Our postgraduate degrees are developed with help from employers and in partnership with industry. Lecturers have extensive practical and industry experience and they’re happy to help you tailor your degree to your own interests. This includes facilitating relevant work placements and providing useful contacts as well as networking opportunities.
From our science and performance laboratories to our extensive animal collection, our Rider Performance and Equine Therapy centres, a fully working farm and exceptional sports facilities, there are so many opportunities to build a portfolio of practical experience and engage in exciting research.

Research is not something that is shut away in a laboratory at Hartpury. Along with scholarship and practice, it is central to Hartpury postgraduate life.
The University Centre prides itself on conducting exceptional applied research and scholarship. Staff involve students in research, and in many cases, students lead research projects and the staff act as mentors and co-researchers.
At Hartpury, learning is all about doing. That means we help you take what you learn in the classroom and put it into practice using the world-class facilities on our specialist campus and our industry partnerships locally and further afield.
The Graduate Assistantship (GA) Scheme offers a fantastic opportunity for you to complement your postgraduate study with exposure to real life working environments within a paid position at the College.
With only limited positions on offer, each post comprises a term-time contract (currently 15 hours a week) and this competitive programme has seen past graduates going on to roles such as Lecturing, Performance Analysis, Senior Coaching positions and Sponsorship Coordinator roles to name a few.
Each Graduate Assistant completes a full induction programme and receives ongoing continuing professional development opportunities throughout the year, while adding a distinctive range of workplace responsibilities to their CVs.
Graduate Assistant posts for the 2016-17 academic year included roles in the Sports Academy (Football and Rowing); Laboratory; Equine Therapy; Admissions and Marketing to name a few.
