Welcome to our digital education hub for all things Equine!
We are the highest-achieving land-based college in England (DfE 2018-2019) and one of the world’s largest equine educational institutions, in the heart of Gloucestershire.
At Hartpury College, our equine diplomas in horse care, equine business and equine management include riding and non-riding options and you will benefit from world-class facilities to enhance your learning and employability. We’ll support you to become the best version of yourself.
At Hartpury University, our international reputation for equine welfare, performance and health means we attract committed, passionate and expert teaching staff. They work with students to answer industry's pressing questions through industry-linked research.
You’ll have access to facilities used by some of the world’s best equine professionals, including the most advanced Rider Performance Centre in the world at an academic institution. You could also gain experience in our commercial Equine Therapy Centre, as well as at our one, two and three-star eventing facilities that host world-class events. Hartpury provides an exceptional learning environment, using outstanding facilities to help you see theory come to life.

Every aspect of our specialist campus is designed to equip students with the skills, knowledge and experience they need to open the door to their dream career.
Hartpury campus boasts its own Equine Therapy Centre where students are able to gain real- world experience or undertake a work placement, using facilities such as a Sato high speed treadmill, an Aquafit water treadmill, veterinary facilities and a 40mx4m trot up with 12m diameter trotting circle.
Our Margaret Giffen Centre for Rider Performance includes a state-of-the-art strength and conditioning suite, rider performance zone including advanced riding simulators, 3D motion capture and electromyography technology, weight-lifting platforms and a dedicated sports therapy area.
Our equine competitions - Hartpury International Festival of Dressage, Five Star International Hartpury Horse Trials and the Hartpury Showjumping Spectacular - attract competitors, sponsors and spectators from across the globe.
As well as these, our equestrian centre plays host to a number of affiliated and unaffiliated shows and events throughout the year as well as various lectures and demonstrations. All event schedules, results and further information can be found on the Hartpury Equine Events website.
