Level 3 Diploma Agriculture (Land-based Engineering)

This 2 year program of study is designed to increase knowledge and practical skills across Machinery Operation, Workshop Skills and Engineering Systems. Through industry links and a period of work placement 99% of learners make positive progression into employment or in some cases Higher Education.

An Agricultural Engineer services, diagnoses, repairs, tests, evaluates and provides technical support for customers and operators. With technology increasing in the Land Based service sector, there is a wide range of career opportunities for a skilled versatile engineer. This course is for people who have a keen interest in and understanding of Land Based industries, are practical with an enquiring mind and who want a varied working environment with current technology.

The broad topics covered on this course provide a tailored sound basis and an engaging programme of the key knowledge, and practical skills required appropriate for employment in Land Based service sector. You will gain a nationally recognised qualification for entry and progression into and within Land Based service engineering as well as allied industries.

On completion, you should have a thorough understanding of your subject and be ready to progress into Higher Education or into full employment.
