Level 3 National Foundation Diploma Agriculture

This program of study is designed to increase knowledge and practical skills across Machinery Operation, Livestock Skills and Crop Production.  Through industry links and a period of Work Placement 99% of learners make positive progression into employment as well as Higher Education.

The course will provide you with the opportunity to develop a more in-depth understanding in a wide range of agricultural subjects.

Learners study aspects of:

  • Sheep
  • Production
  • Machinery Operation
  • The agronomy associated with Combinable Crop Production

Learners have access to excellent facilities on campus and get hands on experience completing Duties on Hartpury’s Home Farm.

Career and education opportunities

On completion, you should have a thorough understanding of Agriculture related  subjects and be ready to progress into the final year of the Extended Diploma in Agriculture following a 10 month period of work placement or into full employment.
