Getting around at Hartpury is easy. You can hop on one of the public buses that stop regularly on campus. Alongside that, we offer on-campus parking for student cars and have great relationships with local taxi firms.
NEW EXPRESS BUS ROUTES FOR 2024/25
For your convenience we’re introducing three new express bus routes for Hartpury College students. You can now book the home-to-college bus service on the following routes for 2024/25.
South Birmingham, Kidderminster, Stourport-on-Severn, Ombersley, Claines, Hartpury College
Filton, Almondsbury, Olveston, Alveston, Thornbury, Hartpury College
Emmersons Green, Coalpit Heath, Yate, Chipping Sodbury, Wickwar, Hartpury College
Zeelo
Our Home-to-College bus service booking platform is managed by smart transportation company, Zeelo. Users can create an account via the Zeelo website, browse our routes, find your closest bus stop, check the cost, and book your annual ticket and collection point via the Zeelo website.* Your ticket will be an easy-to-access QR code on your phone, that the driver will scan when you board the bus.

Hartpury College Transport Service 2024 - 2025
Tickets for new and returning students are available via the Zeelo / Hartpury booking platform. Applications will close on 31 July 2024. Please click on this link to access the website.
New ticket types will be released this year providing more flexibility for all students.
You can also hop on one of the shuttle buses that stop regularly on campus, travelling to and from Gloucester. Please note, there is a reduced service over weekends. You can refer to the shuttle service timetable for further details.
Stagecoach bus #351 travel from Hartpury to Tewkesbury Monday to Saturday, stopping on the main A417 outside campus.
You may also be entitled to a subsidised bus pass which you need apply for through your Local Education Authority. Currently this is available to students who are aged under 19 on 31 August of the year they enrol. Applications should be made directly to the Council, rather than Hartpury.
Gloucester County Council do not offer a subsidised bus pass.
Car parking on campus
You can bring your car to Hartpury and park it on campus. You’ll simply need to purchase a car park pass, available from Student Services when you arrive or via ouronline shop. View ourcar parking policy.
Taxis
If you need to get a taxi, local taxi company Andycars offer a discounted rate for Hartpury students, currently around £13 (£3.25 each) for a four-seater taxi into Gloucester.
