College Prize Day

Event Date and time:

Hartpury College’s Prize Day celebrates the achievements of our college diploma and A-level students.  They are joined on this special day by parents, Hartpury staff, governors, VIP guests and keynote Adventureman Jamie McDonald.

‘Highest Academic Achievement’ and ‘Demonstration of Great Endeavour’ are just two of the prizes awarded during the ceremony as we recognise the successes of our students.

As well as congratulating our students, we also look forward to a number of inspiring speeches from Hartpury governors and those who have played important roles in our students’ lives.

We are thrilled to be joined by Jamie McDonald, also known as Adventureman, who will be inspiring and motivating our students with tales of his adventures.  Recently Jamie set a new world record in Gloucester, completing the most miles run on a treadmill in seven days.

The Gloucester native spent most of his childhood in hospital and now fills his life with adventure to raise money for the hospitals that helped him.  Jamie has done some incredible things, such as running across Canada and cycling from Bangkok to Gloucester on a second-hand bike!
