This is an annual event that communicates and celebrates the exciting research and application of research at Hartpury University.
Morning keynote speaker is world-leading neuroscientist Professor Steve Williams from King’s College London. The Professor will be discussing the complexities of brain health, revealing exciting insights into cutting-edge neuroimaging. He will also be discussing the collaborative research he is conducting with Hartpury around the role in helping schoolchildren diagnosed with autism.
Afternoon keynotes come from Olympic event rider Jonty Evans, who will be sharing insights into his journey back into the saddle after suffering a serious brain injury during a competition. Hartpury’s rider performance team has been supporting Jonty with his recovery.
Guests will also hear from British wheelchair athlete and Hartpury sports graduate Mel Nicholls, just weeks after completing her world-record-breaking hand-cycling record from Lands’ End to John O Groats. Mel’ worked with Hartpury’s sports performance team to help prepare for her challenge.
During parallel sessions we will share exciting new research from all areas at Hartpury and workshops will showcase the exciting new facilities that Hartpury will utilise in new research projects.Book here
