Hartpury University has been shortlisted in two categories for the prestigious 2020 Whatuni Student Choice Awards.

The specialist education institution in Gloucestershire is among the nominations for the following national accolades:

  • University facilities
  • Student Support

The Whatuni Student Choice Awards (WUSCAs) are the only university experience awards ceremony based on student reviews.

Now in their seventh year, the WUSCAs offer prospective students an unbiased, student-led alternative to traditional university ranking systems.

The awards are based on averages taken from more than 40,000 reviews submitted by students from 160 institutions and published on Whatuni.com.

This year’s winners will be announced at a special ceremony hosted by TV presenter Claudia Winkleman at The Brewery in London on Thursday 23 April.

Hartpury University, home to more than 2,000 students, offers undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in Sport, Equine, Animal, Agriculture and Veterinary Nursing, as well as postgraduate research and PhD qualifications.

Students have access to a range of state-of-the facilities, including the largest equine educational establishment in the world, a £8.8 million Sports Academy featuring cutting-edge equipment, science laboratories with industry standard equipment and a £2 million Agri-Tech Centre.

Hartpury is committed to supporting its students and staff through the ongoing development of innovative, holistic interventions and learning opportunities.

Hartpury’s annual Wellfest event highlights the variety of educational and support opportunities dedicated to the safety, health and wellbeing of young people.
