If you've applied for a Master's degree, tuition fees are charged per course. Whereas for PhD study, you'll pay part-time or full-time tuition fees per year. Check our home and international tuition fees on our postgraduate fees and funding page.

Master's and Doctoral Loans

If you're a UK student and you've got an offer to study a full master's degree or PhD programme, you can apply for a loan via the Student Loans Company of around £10,000. Please note, these loans are not available for postgraduate certificates or diplomas.

Financial support

We offer a range of financial support packages to help eligible UK and international students with the cost of education. Check our fees and funding page for bursaries, sport scholarships, charitable trust awards, and Disabled Students Allowances, as well as paid postgraduate assistant roles and studentships.

International students | Attend your international Student visa webinar

3 April 2024

If you're an international student, join our Student visa webinar to prepare for your next steps to Hartpury.

Our International Admissions and Immigration Manager, Charlotte Phillips, will talk you through the Student visa application process and answer your questions, so you're clear on what you need to do and when.

We'll be in touch with details on how to book via email. 

 

International students | Apply for your Student visa 

If you're not a British or Irish citizen, it's very likely you'll require a visa to study in the UK. You can start applying for your Student visa, six months before your start date at Hartpury in September 2024.

This will give you plenty of time to get your visa approved, providing you meet the eligibility criteria. Our International team are visa experts and will be hosting a virtual webinar in March to talk you through the visa application process.

 

Postgraduate Teaching and Research Assistant roles

We'll be in touch with information about our paid Postgraduate Studentships as well as our teaching and research assistant roles.

They're a fantastic opportunity for you to gain valuable academic and industry qualifications and experience on campus alongside your studies, whilst earning a salary to help support your studies.

Your academic timetable

You'll receive your 2024-25 course timetable via email, for a full look at your year ahead.

This means you'll be able to start planning your other commitments around your studies well in advance.

You'll also receive your recommended reading and kit list; if required for your course, and the date of your postgraduate induction.

Your bespoke Passport to Hartpury will arrive in the post and via email. It includes key information about traveling to the UK, from booking flights and packing to arriving at Hartpury and settling in.

We’ll add copies of your guides here too, so you can access them on the go.

Attend your pre-departure briefing webinar with International Manager, Charlotte Phillips, to ensure you're fully informed and prepared to travel to Hartpury in September.

We'll be in touch with details on how to book via email. 

Induction schedule 

This is when you'll receive a full schedule for your postgraduate induction at Hartpury University.

This usually takes place over two days at Hartpury's campus in Gloucestershire*. It's a great opportunity to meet other postgraduate students – from your course and others – and get to know your lecturers ready for the start of teaching.

*Courses delivered online will have an online induction with their Programme Manager and classmates.

Your enrolment

We can’t wait to welcome you onto campus for your postgraduate induction in September 2024.*

We’ll send you full details via email in August 2024, including your induction timetable and when/where to arrive for your first session**. These details will be available via your online hub too, so everything you need is all in one place.

In September, we'll contact you about your online enrolment and creating your Hartpury account. This will give you early access to library resources and ensure a smooth enrolment when you arrive.

We'll also send you an induction email with the final details, so you feel well-prepared to join us.
