- Duration: 3 years
Our students go on to change the lives of professional athletes, as well as the people involved in community and school sports. They also graduate with valuable skills to succeed in a range of different careers.
We're home to top-level coaches, sport and exercise scientists, nutritionists, conditioners, medics and athletes, across 10 Sports Academy programmes, as well as our student-led rugby team, Hartpury University RFC. Our Sports Academies have produced over 200 international sports stars over recent years.
Our outstanding sports facilities mean you can develop your skills as an industry specialist would.
You’ll benefit from some of the UK’s most advanced sports technology including an anti-gravity treadmill, altitude chamber, high-tech 3D tracking cameras and high-resolution digital mirrors.
You’ll also have access to professional rugby and football pitches, a golf driving range, shooting range, outdoor education classroom and a 1,500m2 multi-sports hall.
We have excellent links with sports clubs, schools and national governing bodies. When our students aren’t developing their skills on campus, they're out and about, competing, working with athletes or inspiring the next generation of sports people through coaching and PE.
You’ll never be short of exciting ways to prepare yourself for your future career in sport.

At Hartpury, your student experience is our top priority. That’s why, based on the current government guidance, we're planning on delivering the ‘new normal’ academic experience for students this coming September.
The majority of your teaching will be on site on our beautiful 360-hectare campus, with a maximum of two hours per week online. The online provision will largely be project-based modules (such as Dissertation). Assessments will be a mix of online and on site, depending upon the module. Should there be national restrictions, we'll be able to move the majority of assessments online again as we did this year.
Read our COVID-19 FAQs page for everything you need to know about studying at Hartpury during COVID-19, including teaching, vaccinations and testing and more.
From the day you start your journey with us, you’ll gain real-life practical experience to back up what you learn in our 360-hectare classroom, ensuring that you stand out from the crowd when you apply for your dream job. But don’t just take our word for it, our student success stories speak for themselves.
BSc (Hons) Sports Coaching
Hartpury taught me what it’s like to manage my time and balance my studies with my training schedule. If you take advantage of everything on offer, you’ll hone your skills and come away a better person.
BA (Hons) Sports Business Management
I'm enjoying every minute of running my business, thanks to the support and encouragement I received from my tutors at Hartpury.
BSc (Hons) Strength and Conditioning
I left a lucrative job at a private gym in Mayfair to run my own business. I knew it would be a success because of the skills and knowledge that my Hartpury degree had given me.
Level 3 Extended Diploma Sport (Rugby)
Since graduating from Hartpury I’ve been lucky enough to play rugby for my country and have been awarded a full time professional contract in the England Women’s Elite Player squad.
