What makes this course special?

The tutor who will be instructing you has worked in the Canine industry for over 12 years, and owned their own dog Pet Sitting business for 10 years.

You will have access to a variety of dog breeds and temperaments as well as large range of equipment.

This is the only recognised qualification for dog walkers.

  • Oral Question & Answer Session
  • Written tasks

Will this course lead to a qualification?

On successful completion of this course, you will gain a City & Guilds Level 2 Certificate of Technical Competence in Dog Walking (0146-21)

Achievement of this qualification will show potential employers or customers that you have the practical skills and knowledge they would be look for when recruiting or employing a dog walker.

Entry Requirements

Candidates need to have 2 GCSE’s at D or above.

All candidates will be required to attend a further Hartpury Induction Session to complete initial assessments, dates TBC.


You must be 19+ to attend this course.
