Staying in the UK after your studies

The Graduate Route is a new UK post-study work visa to be introduced for international students graduating in summer 2021 or later. It will allow students to live and work in the UK for up to two years after they have completed their undergraduate or postgraduate degree, or three years after a PhD.

Who will be eligible for a Graduate Route visa?

The Graduate route will be available to international students who have completed a degree at undergraduate level or above at a Higher Education Provider with a track record of compliance and who have a valid Student or Tier 4 visa at the time of application.

Students completing degree-level courses will be eligible, provided they graduate in the summer of 2021 or later.
