Hartpury University extends a warm welcome to students from across Europe. European students have been an important part of Hartpury for a number of years and we’re delighted to have seen so many of them go on to their dream careers in this country and around the world.

If you decide to study a course with you, you’ll be in good company, joining students from across the UK and around the world all studying courses in either animal, agriculture, equine or sport on our specialist campus.

European students and Brexit

We understand that you may have concerns about studying in the UK, as we leave the European Union. We’re committed to supporting all students through the process and our international team will provide as much information as they can to help you make a decision that’s right for you.

The UK Government announced in May 2019 that students from the EU starting a higher education course of study in England in 2019/20 AND 2020/21 academic years will be eligible for Home (UK) fee status and subsequently student finance (including tuition fee loans) in the same way as they are now. This entitlement will remain in place for the duration of the course.
