Getting your kit and recommended reading

#ComingToHartpury2021

Getting ready for university

An exciting part of preparing to come to university is getting everything you need to begin your course.

On this page, you'll find your kit and equipment list and recommended reading, put together by your programme manager.

Kit and equipment
You may need to buy some essential kit and equipment for your course to keep you safe, whilst making the most of our specialist facilities to develop your expertise. While this may not need to be Hartppury branded (check guidance for your course below), we work with trusted suppliers to provide the highest quality.

We recommend you buy this in advance if you can, so you have everything you need from day one.

Recommended reading
You don’t need to buy any books before you get here. However, if you want to familiarise yourself with the key themes, you can find your recommended reading list further down the page. We've included a link to Books You Need below, where you can buy many of the recommended books for your course if you would like to.

Select your course from the drop-down menu to find your kit and book list.
