Students from outside the UK

#COMINGTOHARTPURY2020

If you’re joining us from outside the UK, you’ll be supported every step of the way by our dedicated International team.

We'll help you during your application and be your point of contact for all pre-enrolment guidance - including getting your student visa and preparing to study in the UK. We'll pick you up from the airport and give you a warm welcome to Hartpury.

In addition to other welcome events, you'll be invited to attend a special Vice-Chancellor and Principal's welcome event when you arrive. This is a fun event, where you'll get to know current and new international students and start to feel settled.

From tips on how to open a bank account to registering with the local doctor, our international team will support you throughout your studies. You should already be in contact with them, but if not, please do get in touch by emailing international@hartpury.ac.uk

Important information for EU students

If you're joining us from within the EU, we understand that you may have concerns about studying in the UK, as we leave the European Union. We’re committed to supporting all students through the process and our international team will provide as much information as they can to help you make a decision that’s right for you.

The UK Government announced in May 2019 that students from the EU starting a higher education course of study in England in 2019/20 AND 2020/21 academic years will be eligible for Home (UK) fee status and subsequently student finance (including tuition fee loans) in the same way as they are now. This entitlement will remain in place for the duration of the course.

Read the most up-to-date information from the Student Loans Company and the British Council.

We've added more information to the international section of our website. We'll post more information as it emerges from the government.
