We’re very much looking forward to inviting you on campus, to see our outstanding facilities and acres of green space for yourself.

We’re planning to launch campus tours on 17 May 2021, for groups of six people. However, please be aware that this date is in line with current Government guidance on easing lockdown restrictions, and is subject to change.

We understand that you may not be able to visit our beautiful campus before you enrol, especially if you live outside the UK. Don’t fret, you can get a real feel for our facilities and accommodation through our virtual tour.

And if you are going to join us for a physical campus tour, it's still worth checking out for a taste of what you've got to look forward to.

5. Your key dates

Check the months below to see what your journey to Hartpury looks like. We'll be in touch via post and email over the coming months, but this gives you an idea of what to look out for.

1 March 2021: Accommodation booking opens
Would you prefer to live on our beautiful rural campus, or in stylish new halls in the heart of Gloucester city, just a 15-minute bus ride away? Start considering your options now.

We guarantee Hartpury accommodation in your first year, but allocate rooms on a first-come, first-served basis.

Apply for student finance
If you’re a UK student and have decided to apply for a Tuition Fee Loan and/or Maintenance Loan, go to Student Finance England, Northern Ireland, Scotland or Wales to get started.

If you’re an international student, the best place to go for up-to-date information is the student funding bodies in your own country. It’s very likely that the timings and deadlines on loan and scholarship applications will differ from UK student loans, so make sure you make a note of these in your calendar. If you need further information or advice, our International team are always on-hand to support you: international@hartpury.ac.uk

30 March 2021: International students – Virtual visa session
Join our International Manager, Charlotte Phillips, as she takes you through a step-by-step guide on the visa application process and explains recent changes to student visas from the UK Government.

1 April – Apply for a bursary
We offer a range of bursaries and scholarships to help with the cost of your studies. Check to see if you're eligible and apply on our website.

From 17 April 2021: International students – Apply for your student visa
If you're not a British or Irish citizen, it's very likely you'll require a visa to study in the UK. You can start applying for your student visa from 17 April 2021, six months before your start date at Hartpury of 17 September. This will give you plenty of time to get your visa approved, providing you meet the eligibility criteria. Our International team are visa experts, so do get in touch if you need support: international@hartpury.ac.uk

To apply for your visa, visit the UK Government website: https://www.gov.uk/student-visa

24 April – Virtual Student Takeover
Join us for our first ever virtual student takeover event! Our students will be going live in our Coming to Hartpury 2021 Facebook group, to show you around our beautiful campus and all the facilities, chat to you about student life and answer your questions.

Make sure you've joined our Facebook group. We'll be sharing more information about the event, and asking you what you'd like to see, over the coming weeks.

Student experience
Wondering what it’s like to study your course? Our students will share their stories of their own personal experience though a series of vlogs and blogs. Launching in May, we’ll send you an email when they’re ready to watch and read on our website.

20 May 2021 – UCAS deadline
You must make your Firm (first) and Insurance (second) choice in UCAs before this date. But you don’t have to wait. If you already know we’re the right choice, you can make us your Firm choice now.

Your enrolment guide
You’ll receive your enrolment guide in June in the post. Packed with important information about coming to Hartpury, it includes everything from enrolment and moving in dates, to kit and book lists and details of what to bring. We’ll send you an email and add it on here too.

If you're an international student, you'll also receive a bespoke guide with information about travelling to and joining us in the UK. It contains advice on booking flights, what to bring, arriving at Hartpury, settling in and more!

Accommodation is allocated
Our accommodation team will be in touch with your room allocation in June. Booking is now open, so make sure you apply as soon as you can, if you want to live in Hartpury accommodation.

Join your online induction webinar with your programme manager and future classmates. It’s the perfect opportunity to find out more about studying your degree, ask your questions, and hear from our Pro Vice-Chancellor, Rosie Scott-Ward about Covid-19 and our teaching plans for September.

We’ll be in touch nearer the time with more details and how to book.

Enrolment pack – part 2
You’ll receive your enrolment guide in June. However, there will be some details we’re still finalising, to make sure you have the best enrolment experience. So look out for more details from us in July, including things like the date, time and location of your enrolment and Welcome Week activities.

We’ll send you an email with key details and add them to your enrolment hub, so keep checking back.

10 August 2021: A-level results day
This is when A-level results are released. Good luck to everyone receiving their results. We hope your hard work pays off and you get the grades you want.

To congratulate you on meeting your offer requirements and enrolling with us, we’ll be giving you a little gift. If you live in the UK, you’ll receive this in the post. If you live outside the UK, we’ll save it until your enrolment, in case it gets lost in the post.

Freshers’ Week email
Going to university is a very exciting time, but we know it can be a little bit daunting too. We’ll send you all the information you need to know about joining the #HartpuryFamily in advance – from the activities you’ll be doing, to the support in place to help you settle in. So all you need to focus on is getting involved, making friends, and most importantly, having fun.

20 September: Your enrolment
We can’t wait to welcome you onto campus for your enrolment. We’ll send you more details in June and July, including the date and time of your enrolment and when you can move into Hartpury accommodation (if you’ve applied).
