NAF Five Star International Hartpury Horse Trials inc. The British Championships

The NAF Magic CCI4*S competition has become renowned as a pre-Burghley run for many of the leading horse and rider combinations. The event has attracted Olympic, European and World champions and has been won by JL Dublin, Vanir Kamira and Vendredi Biats!

Our long format CCI2* and CCI3* competitions are an integral part of the British summer eventing calendar, and are popular with professional and amateur riders alike. The long format competitions are the ultimate test of horsemanship, with combinations competing in dressage and cross country before showjumping on the final day.

The event often hosts the final qualifying round of the Burghley Young Event Horse Championship for 4 and 5-year-old horses. See potential equine stars of the future as they're assessed by judges as to their overall suitability for eventing, as well as completing a dressage test and jumping a course of show jumps.

British Eventing hosts a Championship at every level of competition, from Young Horses and BE80, through to Advanced and the British Open Championships, and Championships for each Youth level - Under 18, Pony, Junior and Young Rider. Hartpury hosts the British Novice, Restricted Novice, IN ROR, British Intermediate, and British Open Championship alongside its international classes.
