Hartpury FC ended November with a hard fought 2-1 victory against 10-men Swindon Supermarine on Saturday at the 4ED Hartpury Stadium.
Second half strikes from Noah Coates and Nathan Jenkins secured all three points for the Acorns in this Southern League Div One South matchup.
The Acorns found themselves behind on eight minutes when Sid Gbla sent a looping header past Seth Locke.
It was a chaotic couple of minutes for the Acorns when Billy Osborn saw a spot kicked saved on 20 minutes before having a goal ruled out moments later.
Supermarine went close to doubling their lead on 32 minutes when Oludayo Sonoiki glanced his header wide.
The Spitfires afternoon was made difficult on 35 minutes when their captain, Sam Turl, saw red for a lunging challenge.
The Acorns had some late chances to get level but Drew Robinson and Vanylson Silva both saw efforts well saved by Luke Purnell, sending the Spitfires into the break ahead.

The Acorns made the perfect start the second period when substitute, Tomos Shyamapant, headed the ball into Coates path for him to turn home from close range on 56 minutes.
Louis Manning was denied by another Purnell save four minutes later, as the Acorns took control of the game.
Supermarine tried to the trouble Acorns on 65 minutes, but Locke was equal to a well driven effort.
But the Acorns managed to turn the game around on 68 minutes when Jenkins picked out the bottom corner from 25-yards, after being afforded space to drive in to.
Manning was denied yet again by a strong save from Purnell on 73 minutes before the Supermarine shot stopper made sure Jenkins and Robinson’s effort were kept out brilliantly, moments later.
Despite attempting a third goal, the Acorns secure their first win since the beginning of November and will look to make it back-to-back wins against Tavistock AFC on Tuesday night.
