The Acorns couldn’t have asked for a better month, as we won all three off our fixtures in February.
It wasn’t just a case of picking up a 100% record, as the Acorns made it six wins in a row during the month of love, taking us to within four points of the Southern League Div One South play-offs.
The Acorns also enjoyed their best defensive month of the season, letting in just one goal across the entirety of February.
It’s now time to look back at the past month and what unfolded for the Acorns.

DE-POSSET-ING THREE POINTS AT PORTISHEAD
Heading into a loved up Valentine’s affair at Portishead Town, the Acorns had ended January winning three straight games.
The Posset were sitting pretty in third, but it was the inform Acorns who stole the show with fantastic strikes from Nathan Jenkins and Jesse Aldridge, before a flying header from the returning Josh Roney.
A well-earned 3-1 victory put the Acorns in good spirts heading into another tough test against Westbury United.
HOME FORTRESS
After almost a month away from the 4ED Hartpury Stadium, the Acorns returned home for a clash with Westbury.
Jenkins notched himself up yet another goal on the day, earning the Acorns a narrow 1-0 victory over the White Horse Men.
This victory saw the Acorns remain unbeaten at the 4ED since October and make it five wins in a row.
JOB DONE IN BRIXHAM
To end the month, the Acorns embarked on 276-mile round trip to relegation threatened, Brixham AFC.
A battling first forty-five saw the Acorns being held 0-0 at the break in Devon but it didn’t take long to find the breakthrough after the restart.
Vanylson Silva struck low 10 minutes into the new half, which was enough to earn a sixth straight win and extend our unbeaten streak to eight games.
The 1-0 victory also saw the Acorns keep their fifth clean sheet in six games and move to within touching distance of the play-offs.
The Acorns will aim to keep up momentum against a fellow in form side, as we welcome league leaders Frome Town to the 4ED on Saturday.
