The Acorns play out their first home Southern League Div One South game of the season this evening, as we welcome Melksham Town to the KMM Energy Stadium.
The Acorns will be looking to secure our first three points of the season and extend our current three game unbeaten streak.

FINDING THEIR FEET
It has been a mixed back of results for the Town across all competitions, with Kieran Baggs side without a win since early August.
A win in the FA Cup over Fleet Town kicked off their season before a narrow win over Hungerford Town saw the Town start the league campaign with three points.
Since then, the Town saw an abandonment of their game with Exmouth Town before three straight defeats and a draw last time out in the league against Bristol Manor Farm.
After three league games, the Town sit in 13th at the early stages of the season.
PREVIOUS MEETINGS
The Acorns met with Melksham during two entertaining fixtures last season.
In the first meeting between the sides, a Nathan Jenkins brace saw the Acorns rescue a 2-2 draw at Melksham, before the Town secured all the points at the 4ED Hartpury Stadium with a narrow 1-0 win.
IN THE DUGOUT – KIERAN BAGGS
Baggs rejoined the side at the tail end of last season, following a previous spell with the club where he won promotion to the Southern League in 2018.
Baggs joined from Paulton Rovers with Town sat inside the relegation with nine games remaining of the 2025/26 season.
And Baggs managed to keep Melksham in the league with a final day win over Falmouth Town, giving his side another season to fight in the Southern League.
PLAYER TO WATCH – DANIEL MCBEAM
It’s been a slow start to the season in front of goal for Melksham having scored just four goals in six games.
Daniel McBeam has scored half of those goals with two in his first two games of the season.
McBeam scored Town’s winning goal in the FA Cup against Fleet Town before netting a 99th minute winner against Hungerford.
