The Acorns make the long 450-mile round trip on Saturday to take on Mousehole at Trungle Parc in the Southern League Div One South.
Following a defeat last time on the road to Larkhall Athletic and penalty heartbreak in the FA Trophy last Saturday, the Acorns are looking to pick up our first win of October.
Ahead of our trip down South, here is everything you need to know about our opposition.
THE OPPOSITION – MOUSEHOLE AFC
STADIUM – Interiora Trungle Parc
NICKNAME – The Seagulls
FOUNDED – 1922
MANAGER – Jake Ash
LAST FIVE – L-W-W-L-L
WHAT’S HAPPENED SO FAR?
It’s been a varied start to the campaign for the Seagulls who have picked up just five victories in 11 games.
They head into Saturday’s clash off the back of successive defeats to Westbury United and Tavistock, which also saw the Seagulls d=suffer their first home defeat of the season.
The Seagulls were on a run of five straight wins at Trungle Parc before they suffered defeat to Tavistock.
PLAYER TO WATCH – LIAM PRYNN
Liam Prynn has enjoyed a lethal spell in front of goal recently, netting two goals in his last three matches which included a 96th minute winner against Larkhall.
The 28-year-old forward netted the Seagulls only goal against Westbury last time out, which saw them remain winless on the road this season.
