Match Preview- Westbury United (H)

The Acorns are on the hunt for a fifth consecutive victory but as we welcome inform Westbury United to the 4ED Hartpury Stadium on Saturday.

A stunning performance against Portishead Town last time out saw the Acorns extend their unbeaten run to six games, with still just the one defeat in 2026.

The White Horse Men travel to the 4ED on Saturday afternoon, somewhere the Acorns haven’t tasted defeat at, in the league, since October.

Ahead of Westbury’s trip to Gloucestershire, here is everything you need to know about our opposition.

THE OPPOSITION -  WESTBURY UNITED

STADIUM: Platinum Hyundai Park

NICKNAME: The White Horse Men

FOUNDED: 1920

MANAGER: Ricky Hulbert

LEAGUE POSITION: 10th

LAST FIVE: L-W-W-W-D

LAST TIME OUT

The Acorns tasted defeat when we travelled to Wiltshire back in November, losing out 2-1 late in the game.

Billy Osborn had the Acorns ahead at the interval but goals in the 86th and 91st minute from Ryan Bole and Ackeem Stewart saw the White Horse Men take all three points.

WHAT’S HAPPENED SINCE?

Ricky Hulbert’s side have picked up form in recent weeks, heading to Gloucestershire unbeaten in their last four games.

This form has been welcomed by the club who, prior to this run, suffered a six game winless streak which saw the side pick up just one point between early December and mid-January.

That poor run also saw them score just twice in six games but have since managed seven goals in their last four games.

The road hasn’t been a happy place for the White Horse Men who have won just one of their last seven games away from the Platinum Hyundai Park.

PLAYER TO WATCH – JOSHUA JENKINS

Out of the seven goals scored in their run, Josh Jenkins has netted twice in that time, the most of any Westbury player.

Although these goals have been the only ones the player has scored in recent times, Jenkins has caused problems for his oppositions.
