The Acorns return to the 4ED Hartpury Stadium this week for their final game of the season, after returning to winning ways in Devon, as we welcome Bashley on Saturday.
With the 2025/26 campaign coming to an end, the Acorns will be aiming to finish the season on a high and deliver a strong performance infant of the home crowd.
Ahead of Bashley’s trip to the 4ED, here is everything you need to know about the visitors.
THE OPPOSITION - BASHLEY FC
STADIUM - The Veho Community Stadium
NICKNAME - The Bash
FOUNDED - 1947
MANAGER - Jack Williamson
LEAGUE POSITION - 20th
LAST FIVE - W - L - D - W - W
LAST TIME OUT
The two sides last met in September as the Acorns traveled to The Veho Community Stadium, securing a 2-0 win over the Bash.
After an end-to-end first half, Hartpury FC showed their quality in the second half. A smart goal from Louis Manning opened the scoring on the afternoon, before Billy Osborn bent a second into the top right corner to seal 3 points for the Acorns.
WHATS HAPPENED SINCE?
This hasn’t been the easiest of seasons for Bashley FC, who have already been relegated from the Southern League Division One South and will finish the campaign towards the bottom end of the table.
Despite their league position, Bashley have shown signs of improvement in recent weeks, winning three of their last five matches and picking up a valuable point away at Winchester City.
Recent victories over Brixham AFC and Larkhall Athletic highlight their attacking threat, with the side scoring freely and showing confidence in the final third.
However, inconsistency has remained a challenge, with a defeat to Bristol Manor Farm demonstrating the difficulties they have faced in sustaining momentum throughout the season.
PLAYER TO WATCH - SCOTT BUNGAY
In a side that has struggled at times this season, Scott Bungay has been a bright spark in recent weeks, scoring four goals in his last five appearances for Bashley FC.
His most notable contribution came in Bashley’s recent victory over Brixham AFC, where he netted a brace to secure all three points.
