Hartpury Cider is a student-led agriculture project transforming apples from Hartpury’s heritage orchard into traditional West Country cider.
Created as a final-year undergraduate project, Hartpury Cider gives students hands-on experience of sustainable food and drink production, while helping to preserve the orchard for future students, the local community and nature.
Our award-winning cider is wild fermented and made using traditional methods in partnership with Wilce's, a local family run cidermaker. The result is a genuine, traditional cider with no unnecessary additions, crafted from the character of Hartpury’s own apple harvest.

A light yet rich sparkling vintage cider. Refreshing and crisp, this cider is made from the 2024 apple harvest and allowed to ferment naturally using wild yeasts before bottling.
Lighter than our bottled vintage cider, our sparkling draught cider is the perfect easy-drinking summer accompaniment to barbecues, outdoor dining and local events.
Hartpury Cider is available through a growing list of local and online stockists.
