Hartpury students are celebrating more success after being crowned golf champions at the 2018 AoC Sport National Championships.
Evie Stone, who is studying A-levels at Hartpury, powered to victory in the girls’ individual competition at the event hosted by the University of Nottingham.
Evie teamed up with fellow Hartpury students Sophie Johnson, Elle Willis and Alex Sadler, all of whom are studying for BTEC Sport, to win the team event.
Matt Ellis, Hartpury’s Golf Academy manager, said: “Just a few weeks ago, George Bryant, who is studying a Sports Business Management degree with our Academy, won the BUCS English and Welsh Championships.
“It’s fantastic to be able to celebrate another golf success for Hartpury – congratulations to Evie, Sophie, Elle and Alex.”
The golf tournament was a 36-hole event played over two days and open to both teams and individuals.
The championships, featuring a range of sports, are a celebration of competitive sport in colleges.
They are the largest annual student sporting event in the UK, with nearly 1,800 college students taking part last year.
AoC Sport member colleges qualify to represent their region at the Championships through regional tournaments, hosted throughout the autumn term.
