New research partnership is launched by University Centre Hartpury

Experts from University Centre Hartpury will be among the speakers at a showpiece event for sports industry professionals marking the launch of an exciting new research partnership.

University Centre Hartpury – one of the UK’s leading sporting educational centres – is teaming up with Sports Injury Fix with the aim of producing ground-breaking research into the treatment and prevention of sports injuries.

Sportsinjuryfix.com is a rapidly growing website that has brought the fragmented injury treatment marketplace together, making it simple for people to find the right treatment.

Launching the partnership, the Sports Injury Fix Conference at University Centre Hartpury on 10 June, will include talks and practical sessions related to managing endurance athletes, nutrition and business management.

This professional development event on Sunday, 10 June, will especially appeal to sports therapists, physiotherapists, sports massage therapists, chiropractors, osteopaths and sports rehabilitators.

Speakers from University Centre Hartpury will include:

  • Andrew Dobson – Programme Manager and Senior Lecturer in Sport and Exercise Nutrition;
  • Richard Mack – Lead Physiotherapist for Hartpury RFC and Senior Lecturer in Sports Therapy;
  • Kevin Ball – Senior Lecturer teaching business and management-related subjects in the HE Sports Department
