Hartpury University is inviting applications for two senior management positions to help further enhance its reputation as one of the top specialist educational institutions in the UK.
It is looking to recruit two highly talented and motivated individuals to become its new Head of Department Equine and its new Head of Department Animal and Agriculture at its 360-hectare campus in Gloucestershire.
It follows an outstanding 2018, when Hartpury was awarded university title, enrolled a record number of new students and was ranked third out of more than 100 UK education institutions in the Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey.
It is the only educational institution in Gloucestershire to be awarded Gold in the Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF), which ranks providers based on their teaching and learning for students, putting it among the top higher education providers nationally.
Hartpury University is home to more than 1,800 students completing undergraduate and postgraduate degrees as well as higher education diplomas and postgraduate research in Sport, Equine, Animal, Agriculture and Veterinary Nursing.
Students at Hartpury University have access to one of the world’s largest equine educational facilities and cutting-edge sports facilities, an extensive animal collection, an animal therapy centre, science laboratories with industry standard equipment and a fully working farm.
Ninety-seven per cent of graduates from Hartpury University are also in employment or further study six months after graduating (Destination of Leavers from Higher Education survey, 2013-16 average).
Hartpury University offers taught masters qualifications in Equine, Sport, Animal and Veterinary Physiotherapy, as well as postgraduate research and PhD.
