Diploma students gained important advice and information at the 2019 Agricultural and Animal Management Careers Fair at Hartpury College to help them find their dream jobs.
More than 40 exhibitors from a wide range of organisations attended the showpiece event held in the indoor arena at Hartpury’s Equine Centre.
Students were given the opportunity to speak with exhibitors, ask questions about their business, and explore the possibility of any potential job opportunities.
There were also talks about student gap years, travel opportunities, volunteering aboard and the Animal Technician Development Programme.
Nicole Booth, an Animal Management Lecturer at Hartpury College, said: “The Agricultural and Animal Management Careers Fair is a great opportunity for our students to investigate the various options that are open to them.
“Some could be looking to find a job straightaway after leaving Hartpury, others might be looking to travel, while some of our students, of course, may decide to continue their studies at Hartpury University.
“We’d like to thank all the exhibitors who gave up their time to support the event and helped to make it such a big success.”
Hartpury College, which offers a range of A-levels and diplomas, is one of the UK’s leading land-based, sports, equine and animal colleges.
Students have access to an extensive animal collection, an animal therapy centre, science laboratories with industry-standard equipment and a fully working farm.
