Hartpury University and Hartpury College set to host SoGlos Gloucestershire Business Awards 2024

Hartpury University and Hartpury College will host the SoGlos Gloucestershire Business Awards on Thursday 17 October 2024. Hartpury University will also sponsor the Most Innovative Business of the Year category.

Businesses from across the county can now put themselves forward to be in with a chance of winning a prestigious Gloucestershire Business Award here.

With 19 hotly contested categories ranging from International Business of the Year to Corporate Social Responsibility, entrants also have the chance to take home the title of overall Business of the Year 2024, which is handpicked by headline co-partners Hazlewoods and Willans LLP Solicitors.

Stuart Emmerson, Director of Business Development at Hartpury University and Hartpury College said:“We are absolutely delighted to be hosting the SoGlos Gloucestershire Business Awards and are very proud of our ongoing links with the event through our sponsorship of the Most Innovative Business of the Year category.

“The awards night itself is always a spectacular celebration of our thriving business community here in Gloucestershire and provides an exciting opportunity to celebrate the companies, teams, charities, and individuals that help our region to thrive.

“It’s an honour to be able to welcome them the business community to our beautiful campus this autumn, showcasing our facilities and the work of our staff and students that contributes to the success of our region”

James Fyrne, Managing Director of SoGlos said: "This will be the fourth year of Gloucestershire's leading business awards and I can't think of a more fitting setting to bring businesses together and celebrate than Hartpury - an organisation which represents the county on a regional, national and international level. We can't wait to see the calibre of entries from the very best of Gloucestershire businesses and look forward to the big awards night itself in October."

Entries opened to businesses on Monday 18 March and will close on Friday 3 May 2024.

A shortlist will be revealed on Friday 7 June 2024 and sent to the judging panel, comprised of a representative from each category partner.

During the judging stage, shortlisted businesses are invited to a ‘Meet the Judges’ event at Clavell & Hind on Tuesday 9 July 2024 — and judges will also have the opportunity to follow up with shortlisted businesses for further consideration, before submitting their scores on Friday 6 September 2024.

The judge’s panel meeting takes place at the Bugatti Owners Club on Wednesday 18 September 2024, with their scores determining the winners and highly commended entries.

Finalists will be revealed and invited to the official awards evening on Monday 23 September 2024.

Finally, the much-anticipated awards evening will take place on Thursday 17 October 2024 at Hartpury University.
