Hartpury University graduate shortlisted for prestigious FEI Inspire Award

Hartpury University Equine graduate Hannah Saskya Bingei has been shortlisted for the FEI Inspire Award 2025, recognising her outstanding contribution to the global equine industry through her innovative business, Equine Resources Indonesia (ERI).

The FEI Inspire Award celebrates young changemakers driving positive impact within the equestrian world. Saskya, who graduated from Hartpury with a BSc (Hons) Equestrian Sports Science in 2018, is one of just three finalists worldwide to be shortlisted this year.

Her company, Equine Resources Indonesia, aims to strengthen and professionalise the equine industry in Indonesia by providing education, training, and guidance across key areas including equine welfare, media, education, and saddlery. Since its launch, ERI has become a vital platform for raising awareness and improving standards within Indonesia’s growing equestrian community.

Hartpury University’s Equine department has a long-standing reputation for developing graduates who make a real impact on the global stage from elite athletes and coaches to researchers and entrepreneurs advancing welfare and education worldwide.

Dr Emma Davies, Programme Manager for the BSc (Hons) Equestrian Sports Science degree at Hartpury University said: “We’re incredibly proud of Saskya’s achievements and the difference she’s making in Indonesia. Her nomination for the FEI Inspire Award is a testament to the global reach of Hartpury University’s equine graduates and the values we instil in our students - innovation, compassion, and leadership.”

Public voting for the FEI Inspire Award 2025 is open now until Sunday 12 October, with winners announced later this month.
