Collaborative Research Project Launch
The event will officially unveil a collaborative project between Hartpury University and Unreflected Reflections. With funding from UKRI, Hartpury is supporting two fully funded Master’s by Research (MRes) studentships. This innovative project, titled “Reflective Futures: Sharing experiences and aspirations from within the Gloucester Muslim community in the present to shape the future,” focuses on co-created research into health and wellbeing with the Gloucestershire Muslim community. The initiative aims to understand lived experiences of community members to address gaps in previous research around physical activity, and generate actionable insights to inform future wellbeing and community development initiatives.
Premiere Screening of Unreflected Reflections – Film 4
Attendees will also experience the premiere of the fourth film in the Unreflected Reflections series. This creative documentary continues the project’s mission to document, honour, and amplify the histories and identities of the Gloucester Muslim community through visual storytelling. The screening will be followed by a Q&A session, providing an opportunity for audience members to engage with the filmmakers and reflect on the film’s themes.
