Hartpury University sponsors National Equine Forum 2026

Hartpury University is proud to announce its sponsorship of the National Equine Forum 2026 (NEF26), which will take place in London on 5 March 2026. Last year, Hartpury University’s Professor of Equine Science, Professor Meriel Moore-Colyer, delivered a compelling presentation on equine nutrition.

Recognised as the UK’s foremost independent equestrian conference, the National Equine Forum brings together leading experts, policymakers, researchers and industry professionals to discuss the most pressing challenges and opportunities facing the equine sector. The annual event provides a unique platform for knowledge exchange, debate and collaboration across equestrian sport, welfare, science and industry.

A not-for-profit event organised by a dedicated volunteer committee, NEF is made possible through the support of sponsors who share a commitment to advancing education, evidence-based practice and sector-wide progress. Hartpury University joins a distinguished group of organisations supporting NEF26, reflecting a shared ambition to place horses at the centre of sustainable industry development.

Sponsorship of NEF26 aligns closely with Hartpury’s mission to support knowledge exchange and to ensure that research and education have real-world impact across the equestrian sector.

Catherine Porter, Head of Equine at Hartpury University, said: “Hartpury is delighted to sponsor NEF26. The Forum is a brilliant showcase with shared goals to disseminate educational, important and contemporary information to as many members of the equestrian sector as possible. Supporting NEF enables meaningful knowledge exchange and progression across the industry, always with a horse-first approach.”

NEF26 is expected to attract more than 600 participants, attending both in person and via live stream. The programme will explore topical issues including equine health and welfare, pre-purchase examinations, technological developments within the industry, and the presentation of the Sir Colin Spedding Memorial Lecture and Award 2026.

Hartpury University looks forward to engaging with colleagues from across the equestrian sector at NEF26 and contributing to discussions that help shape a resilient, informed and progressive future for the industry.
