Hartpury RFC will kick off their home campaign under the Friday night lights this week, as Ampthill visit the 4ED Stadium powered by Vodafone for the first home game of the new season.
Taking place on Friday 2 October, the fixture will kick off at 7.45pm, with gates opening from 5pm, giving supporters plenty of time to enjoy the atmosphere before the action gets underway.
After reaching the play-offs last season, Hartpury will be hoping to build on that success and challenge for a play-off place for a second consecutive year.
The fixture also provides supporters with the opportunity to see some of the potential stars of the future in action, with Hartpury continuing its proud tradition of developing talented young players alongside competing at a high level of senior rugby.
Adding to the Friday night atmosphere, the Hartpury cheerleaders will also be involved in the evening.
There will be plenty on offer away from the pitch too. The clubhouse will be open, while the Hartpury Grill will be serving burgers, hot dogs, chicken and chips. A coffee van and cakes will also be available throughout the evening.
The game offers an affordable evening out for families, with children receiving free entry, while dogs are also welcome provided they are kept on leads.
Supporters are encouraged to purchase their tickets online in advance to take advantage of reduced prices compared with purchasing at the gate.
