Hartpury University and Hartpury College have announced a new partnership with Nuffield Health Cheltenham Hospital, Hartpury’s preferred medical partner from September 2026.
The partnership will further strengthen the healthcare and medical support available to Hartpury students, including its talented athletes, providing access to specialist expertise and services across areas including diagnostic imaging, orthopaedics, sports medicine, physiotherapy and rehabilitation.
Nuffield Health Cheltenham Hospital’s multidisciplinary team will work alongside Hartpury’s established medical and performance support services, helping students and athletes to maintain their health and wellbeing, prevent and manage injuries, support rehabilitation and return to sport safely.
The partnership will also create opportunities for collaborative health and wellbeing initiatives across the Hartpury community.
These will include a long-term health conditions programme launching in October 2026, alongside specialist workshops and educational events designed to support students’ health, performance and overall wellbeing throughout their time at Hartpury.
The collaboration reflects a shared commitment between Hartpury and Nuffield Health Cheltenham Hospital to helping students thrive in their studies, sport and wider lives.

Nuffield Health Cheltenham Hospital is recognised for its patient care across a range of specialisms, including diagnostic imaging, orthopaedics, sports medicine, physiotherapy and rehabilitation. It was also one of the first private hospitals in Gloucestershire to offer robotic-assisted joint replacement surgery.
