Conferencing and meeting facilities

Hartpury University and Hartpury College is set within 360 hectares of Gloucestershire countryside containing both woodland and pastureland, within easy reach of Gloucester and Cheltenham and the motorway network, as well as the rural idylls of the Forest of Dean and Wye Valley.

Hartpury House, a Grade II listed 18th Century manor house set within landscaped gardens with far reaching views, provides a unique setting for our conferencing facilities.  Our suite of conference rooms offer the ideal setting to host meetings, interviews or training courses.

Each room is traditionally furnished and professionally equipped, whatever your requirements, and we provide free wi-fi on site for all attendees.  Our sporting facilities can also be used, subject to availability.

We pride ourselves on providing a high quality experience and create bespoke conferencing packages to suit your individual needs and budget.

Accommodation

If your conference runs over more than one day, we can offer you accommodation packages for your delegates out of term time.

We have 1000 rooms on site, which are a mix of single en-suite, twin en-suite and non en-suite depending on your requirements. These are situated in two storey accommodation blocks, Rudgeley, New Vicarage and Limbury, with 16-20 rooms in each block depending which accommodation area they are in.  These blocks are close to either the Sports Academy or the Equestrian Centre, and are ideal for large scale events.

  • With 24/7 emergency cover and controlled access for security in all blocks, our accommodation is ideal for language schools, sports groups and other groups of adults and young persons.
  • For smaller groups, we also have 21 single en-suite rooms in the more traditional Hartpury House, with views overlooking the beautiful gardens and the lake.

Catering packages

The campus also has a range of other services and facilities (educational and recreational) which can be used by our conference guests including our refectory Graze and the Red & Black café serving Costa Coffee.

Catering packages can be bought as part of your booking, giving your delegates easy access to breakfast, lunch and dinner or just some of those meals, in our Graze refectory without the need for them to carry money if required. You can choose from a number of packages, from individual meal options to more comprehensive B&B, half board or full board packages.

Individual meal options

  • Breakfast meal tickets
    • This provides the recipient with a choice of hot and cold breakfast options including cereal, toast, five choices from the breakfast menu and a hot or cold drink.
  • Meal deal lunch option
    • This provides the choice of a light lunch - a jacket potato, sandwich or freshly made baguette, all accompanied with a cold drink.
  • Hot cooked lunch ticket
    • This more comprehensive lunch option provides your delegate with the option of a main cooked meal from the menu of the day, accompanied by two potato portions or two vegetable portions or a salad bowl, and followed up by a yoghurt or fresh fruit and a choice of hot or cold drink.
  • Two course evening meal ticket
    • The two course meal option provides your delegate with the choice of hot meal from the main hot plate, accompanied by two potato portions and two vegetable portions, a hot or cold dessert or fresh fruit, and a hot or cold drink.
  • Three course evening meal ticket
    • The three course options includes a chef’s choice starter of the day, Plus the choice of hot meal from the main hot plate, accompanied by two potato portions and two vegetable portions, a hot or cold dessert or fresh fruit, and a hot or cold drink.
