Shaping the future

Sport organisations benefit from having access to a postgraduate student for digital marketing, social media management, research and consultancy purposes while students boost their employability, expand learning and networks, and gain real-world experience.

How can the Hub support my organisation?

The Hub offers the following support services to sport organisations in Gloucestershire and across the UK to boost your resources, provide valuable insight and intelligence - and save money.

We offer tailored digital marketing and content creation support for your organisation across a multitude of channels including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and Twitter. This student-led service has been designed to help your organisation implement a new strategic direction and provide support to your in-house marketing department.

Benefit from 150 hours of valuable work experience. Each undergraduate student placed within your organisation could help support you across a wide range of topic areas. Work placements greatly increase the chances of our graduates securing graduate level jobs and offer valuable experience and insight into industry.

Do you have an area or idea that you’d like a master’s student to explore for your business? Our sport students engage in a ‘live’ project that helps organisations conduct research into key areas of business development or evaluation, providing data and feedback aligned with project aims and objectives.

Our coaches are adept at planning and delivering high-quality sports and physical activity sessions to a wide range of audiences including Primary and Secondary schools. Our student coaches study on a professionally recognised course that has accreditation from the Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport and Physical Activity (CIMSPA).

We also offer bespoke evaluation and learning support to help organisations understand the value and impact of their work. This may be through tailored impact evaluation strategies and training programmes that will enhance your organisation's delivery capacity and capability.

“The course itself was fantastic, I had such a keen interest in business and such a passion for sport, so being able to contribute the two and do a practical business degree was perfect. The lecturers really cared about you and how well you did, and made it so much easier for you.”
