Hartpury University’s respected BSc (Hons) Sports Coaching degree programme has been endorsed by the Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport and Physical Activity (CIMSPA), meaning graduates will also be recognised at the organisation’s Coach professional standard.

CIMSPA endorsed degree programmes are certified as meeting professional standards set by the most highly regarded employers in the sector. The institution aims to create a recognised and respected profession, and Hartpury University received praise for its submission and the work put in to create this balanced and valuable programme.

“We are delighted that our BSc Sports Coaching programme has been recognised by CIMSPA,” said Matt Coldrey, Senior Lecturer in Sports Coaching, Physical Education and School Sport.

“We work hard to ensure that our graduates are ready to work in the sports and physical activity sector, so it is really pleasing that our degree programme has now received professional recognition,” he added.
