Hartpury College celebrates first T Level results alongside strong BTEC and A-level performances

Students at Hartpury College are celebrating their results today, with strong performances across A-levels, BTECs and the college’s first-ever cohort of students completing T Levels in Agriculture.

Hartpury’s first cohort of students completing T Levels in Agriculture – Crop Production and Agricultural Engineering pathways has achieved an impressive 95.2% pass rate, with 36.5% of students achieving an overall Merit or Distinction.

Results were particularly strong in Crop Production, where a number of Distinction grades were achieved.

As the College’s first T Level cohort, the results represent a positive achievement for students and compare favourably with the national T Level picture, where it is reported that more than 90% of students completing a T Level in 2026 achieved a pass.

Additionally, Hartpury’s A-level students have achieved a 96.9% overall pass rate, with a large proportion achieving A*-C grades.

The results include some outstanding individual performances, with students achieving excellent grades across a range of subjects.

Among the notable achievements are:

·       Dan Page: A* Maths, A* Psychology, A Economics

·       Grace Janes: A* Biology, A Maths, A Chemistry

·       Riley James: A* Psychology, A Maths, A Business

·       Tilly Hudson Hulls: A* Psychology, A Biology, A Maths

A further six students achieved AAB, with another two students achieving A, A and B*. Congratulations to them all.

Furthermore, Hartpury’s Level 3 BTEC students have achieved an excellent 99.2% pass rate, matching the strong performance of previous years with 73.2% achieving high grades

Students will now take their next steps into higher education, employment, apprenticeships and other exciting opportunities, building on the knowledge, skills and experience they have gained during their time at the college.

Claire Whitworth, Principal of Hartpury College, said: “I would like to congratulate every one of our students on their results and thank our staff for the tremendous commitment, care and support they have shown throughout the year, supporting our students to thrive and flourish.

“Results day is an important moment for our students, marking the culmination of years of hard work, resilience and determination. Behind every result is an individual journey, and we are incredibly proud of the progress and achievements of our students.

“I am particularly pleased to see our first T Level Agriculture cohort reach this important milestone and to see our BTEC students continue to perform strongly. We are also delighted to celebrate some exceptional individual A-level achievements.

“I wish all our students every success as they take their next steps, whether that is progressing to university – some of them returning as Hartpury University students, or heading into employment, apprenticeships or further study. They leave Hartpury College with our very best wishes for the future, and I look forward to seeing all that they go on to achieve.”
