International Referral Programme

Do you have friends or family around the world who would like to study at Hartpury?

Our International Referral Programme rewards alumni and students with £500 for referring international students within their networks to undertake their studies with us.

About the Programme

The International Referral Programme (IRP) is designed to recognise and reward graduates and current students who share their experiences and the benefits of undertaking study at Hartpury College and Hartpury University with people they know within their networks.

  • Referrals can be made by any alumni of Hartpury who has successfully graduated, or any current Hartpury student considered to be in 'good standing'
  • You can refer someone you know to any full-time course (excluding online programmes, professional courses and short courses), which runs for at least one full year
  • For a referral to be successful, a referred student must successfully apply and enrol onto their chosen degree programme, be shown to be engaging well with their course, complete their first semester and be up-to-date with their tuition payments
  • Referred students must pay international fees and therefore cannot be entitled to home fees, i.e. be a resident or national of the UK
  • For a successful referral, Hartpury will reward £500 to the referrer and a £500 tuition fee deduction to the referred student
  • Referrals must be made within 1 week of application from the referred student

Please check our eligibility criteria and the full Terms and Conditions below.

Eligibility criteria

  • The International Referral Programme (IRP) is open to alumni and current students at Hartpury (subject to the IRP's terms and conditions)
  • The referred student must be an international fee-paying student
  • Referred students must not have previously registered their interest in Hartpury (through application or enquiry) in the past three years or have previously studied at Hartpury College or Hartpury University
  • A referral form must be submitted by the referrer for each referred student within 1 week of Hartpury receiving an application by the referred student
  • The referred student must enrol on a programme of study at Hartpury within one year of their referral date (after the referral form has been submitted)
  • Please see the full eligibility criteria on the IRP's terms and conditions

How to make a referral

  • The referred student should apply to Hartpury via UCAS for undergraduate programmes and use the direct application page on the Hartpury website for college and postgraduate programmes
  • After the referred student has made their application, the referrer must complete the IRP form on this webpage within 1 week
  • The referred student's details are to be checked by Hartpury to confirm they are international fee-payers, have not registered their interest in Hartpury within the past 3 years, are not studying at one of Hartpury's partner colleges or universities, or have been submitted through an agent. Please note the referred student must not use any agency services at any point during their application, otherwise the referral will be invalidated
  • The referred student will be contacted by Hartpury for verification of this referral
  • Hartpury will contact the referrer after the referred student has successfully enrolled, completed their first semester, and met all of the terms and conditions to confirm the reward
