Career Overview

I have been teaching for 15 years across business and sciences. Originally from the USA, and prior to teaching in the university sector I was a professional horse trainer, riding instructor, and groom. In addition to Hartpury University have worked for the Royal Agricultural University, INTO University Partnerships, and continue to do sessional work with the University of Gloucestershire in marketing and business.

Teaching and supervision

My specialism is consumer motivation for animal ownership and interdisciplinary approaches to education. My experience in both animal science and subjects of sociology, psychology, and social psychology within business mean I support learning and research across disciplines; especially the human side of human-animal interactions. The interdisciplinary nature is at the forefront of understanding positive and continued interaction between animals, individuals, and societies.
