Career Overview

I am a Senior Lecturer in Business Management, specialising in Economics and Finance, with over a decade of professional experience in accounting and commercial finance. As an ACCA-qualified finance professional, I have worked across accounting practice, management accounting, forecasting and financial business partnering before moving into higher education.

My teaching is focused on making business and finance relevant, rigorous and real. I use practical activities, real-world business scenarios, technology and industry partnerships to bring financial concepts to life and help students understand how what they learn connects to the workplace.

I am particularly interested in innovative approaches to teaching and learning that make complex financial concepts accessible and engaging for students. I enjoy experimenting with new technologies, interactive learning and authentic assessment to create experiences that encourage students to think critically, apply their knowledge and develop confidence for their future careers.
