Career Overview

I have one of the more varied career paths within the University. I graduated from Hartpury College in 2002 with PGDip & BSc (Hons) Equine Science. I then worked for Cadbury UK for 8 years initially as a Retail Sales Representative & progressed to an Account Manager position responsible for a £10 million business. I returned to Hartpury as a member of staff in 2012, initially lecturing, tutoring and programme managing the Equine Business Management Programme. After completing my MSC and PGCHE, I progressed to line manage the Equine team in 2015, supporting the transition from college to University and further progressing to my current role of Head of Department in 2019.

• Engagement and communication within the equestrian and wider industries
