Career Overview

I have worked at Hartpury in the Equine Department since 2013, following the completion of my MSc in Equine Science and BSc (Hons) in Equine Sports Science, where I specialized in rider performance & psychological demands of competition in riders. I am the Programme Manager for our BSc (Hons) Equestrian Sports Science course, and I tutor and teach students studying on this course. I also deliver as part of a 1st year Sports module, discussing sport and exercise psychology.

I also work as an External Examiner at several equine universities and colleges and am completing a PhD part-time investigating the psychological responses to occupational injury in horseracing staff alongside industry partners.
