Career Overview

After completing my MSc in Livestock Production Science in The Netherlands, I came to the UK to complete my PhD with Hartpury College and the University of the West of England (UWE). My PhD allowed me to combine my science background with my passion for horses, investigating the impact of diet and management on behaviour and activity levels in horses. During this, I was fortunate to work with some of the leading experts in equine nutrition and equine exercise physiology. Whilst in the final stages of my PhD, I moved into teaching at university level, and have taught ever since at different colleges and universities, before returning to Hartpury in 2015.
