Career Overview

Having completed a BSc (Hons) and MSc in Equine Science I undertook doctoral research into the immunology of pregnancy in the equine, which brought me into teaching in 2014. I have a passion for engaging students with research and have led research skills and dissertation modules throughout my teaching career. After 2 years of teaching across various biomechanics and rehabilitation modules and managing the BSc (Hons) Equine Sports Therapy and Rehabilitation programme, I took on a team leader role gaining valuable experience in leading academic staff and HE curriculum. I joined Hartpury University in 2021 where I oversee operational aspects of our equine science provision and manage a team of 12 staff, as well as supporting links with our industry partners the British Racing School and Three Counties Equine Hospital.
