Dr. Kathryn Nankervis

Career Overview

I studied Physiological Sciences at Newcastle University and an MSc in Equine Science from the University of Wales. The Equine Therapy Centre at Hartpury was set up in 2000 and I have been responsible for all commercial, teaching and research activity within the facility since then. I enjoy working within a multi-disciplinary team to enhance equine function and performance. My research aims to provide an evidence base for the methods we use in practice through research with colleagues both in industry and in other academic institutions. My time is divided between running the Therapy Centre at Hartpury, my own research and supervising PhD students.
