Career Overview

I bring nearly two decades of professional experience across the equine, veterinary and sporting sectors. My career began in polo club management, equine welfare, coaching and large scale event delivery, where early leadership roles enabled me to develop strong operational expertise, stakeholder management skills and a deep understanding of industry standards. I expanded this foundation through editorial work with Polo Times and through co-founding the Association of Polo Schools and Pony Hirers, strengthening my knowledge of the wider equestrian landscape.

I later consulted for start-up animal health companies in biotech and pharmaceuticals before qualifying as a Veterinary Practice Manager, leading complex veterinary and regulatory projects including DEFRA-recognised export protocols and international conservation collaborations.

My long standing work with Power of Polo enabled me to design and deliver residential programmes, develop governance structures and support beneficiaries through equine centred interventions as a qualified Equine Assisted Services Practitioner. I also contribute to emerging scholarly research exploring equine facilitated sport for change interventions.
