Career Overview

In 2011 I gained my Forging qualification from Oatridge College, Edinburgh, with a view to becoming a qualified Farrier. Unable to secure an apprenticeship I joined the support team in a private rural mixed-animal veterinary practice. 6 years later with extensive farm animal veterinary knowledge and K-SQP qualification, I started my Undergraduate degree here at Hartpury. I joined Hartpury in my current role directly after completing a 1st class BSc(Hons) Equine Science with Therapy in 2021. I have gone on to complete a PgCPAP which included my FHEA and am currently completing an MRes Equestrian Science alongside teaching and supervising on a variety of modules.
